putting on earphones is like wearing your face mask
the latter one, u don’t have to fake any smiles or facial expression
so you could rest your facial muscle a bit
while for earphones, you just mentally isolate urself from the reality
so you could rest your mind a bit

one thing strange is ,
‘studying’ my iTunes Play Count/blog language pattern,
I tend to listen to English songs/write in English in Hong Kong
Cantopop/in cantonese in MIT
and J-pop/in Japanese before leaving for USA
Can someone explain this? anyone?

today went to a MIT Sing-k gathering
10 MITers and 2 from Princeton
they are not Hong Kongers but coming to HK for internships ==
my english is so bad =(( suan la//
and gatherings at this age =
10% making friends + 90% building up connections..sosad

and this summer
there r more than 1 person from MIT who told me
“so you are the one who stay in the reading room (自修室) a lot!!”
oh well..before getting too flattered about it, it also means that
the person also stays in the reading room a lot haha
anyway, glad that I got this always-stay-in-reading-room image
becoz it totally contradicts with my hea底 /hea-pay image I used to have for so long

(boy, you won’t want to know how hard I tried pushing myself going there)

How true.
One fact has been undeniable,
no one moves like mj.
He redefined the possibility of physical embodiment of music.

we’ve lost an irreplaceable global icon
who bridged nations and races
by his powerful performances and superb talents (dance, singing, composing, acting..)
can’t name any other stars with such a wide scope in terms of influence and popularity.

everyone wants you back,
but once again sad reality reminds us that, even as god-like as MJ,
human is mortal.
even dancers as charming as MJ would be motionless after death. (recycled)

Don’t stop till you get enough

not until recently (<==I am abusing this phrase..)
for life is dull and monotonous
I became strongly addicted to news and magazines

Monday, Sunday, TMZ.com, Yahoo! News,
NYT newsfeed, or anything that involves heavy real-time updates
(facebook, haha.)

i know i should read more books and get inspired…
boy, i’m just too tired to get inspired in this vocational vacation ..
just gimme so fun and relaxation and pointless laughs

for when september comes, that’s another war coming up

this is what real amazing/perfect/impressive/brilliant performance is.

eventually i will lose all my friends.

not only it is creepy, it is not respecting the person at all…

Played Texas Hold’em today.
I’m so bad at that… let’s cross away “PSET grader”
and make “Skill up Texas Hold’em and Blackjack in this summer”
as my aim of the year!

another thing is, reading back my ‘new’ year resolution for 2009
做每一件事都全力以赴 不懂就要立刻弄清楚 每天都要複習一下 not really
要有PE 課 多走路上學 no and yes
希望有3科A 至少 要發力 yes!
希望真的實現健康生活年目標 充足睡眠 多吃菜  no
希望可以找到一份有趣而不用programming的UROP yes!!
然後繼而找到一份威猛的summer intern..(eh…)  yes!
希望有更好的 IQ 及 EQ 少發脾氣 contrary haha
一個人時就要甘心一個人 不要埋怨自己的選擇 yes~
希望多點自信及動力 not sure
留意時事 多看新聞 absolutely yes
對人友善一點 not really..
買 heater !  didnt do this haha
少點眼淚 多點傻笑
多用腦…少懶惰
be less cynical !!
