14.o2 – Macroeconomics
A class without final examination. materials meant to be introductory (I guess?). So as long as I am following the recitations, it won’t be too bad. It is a requirement for Finance major.
1.oo — 计算机与工程问题解决导论
A class which requires me to carry my macbook 4 days per week to class. There is in-class programming tasks, a super long problem set per week, and recitation. I am not really worried about the above workload, but there is a final examination for this….as it cross-satisfy my requirement for structural engin and Finance…really can’t screw it up.

i love this class!!! totally intersects my field of interest !! no homework no exam no paper !!! just discuss sth that I am familiar/want to be familiar with. It is one of the best time to take this course as they inserted many up-to-date LDP/DPJ election stuffs on it. its 2-hour long but i totally don’t think it is long. It is requirement for my japan internship 2010 program.
1.o5o – Engineering Mechanics <3
exam coming up on Sept 21 (!) I LOVEE this class, not only becoz the professor and TA are handsome and charming, i love it is challenging but not impossible, a do-able challenging class. With only 3 lectures, we learnt to quantify –atomic explosion, 911 collapse, periodic folding of discrete materials, robustness of skyscrapers, nanoidentation, ways to cook a turkey (?), longest span of a bridge…etc.
1.o18 – Earth System
boring. the same professor, the same slides, the same content, the same lines as my Intro Bio class …and what’s worst is we have to write a EE-length long term paper for that…topic due in 2 days, and yes I havent even think about it yet.
1.1o1 – CEE Lab Design
loooong 3-hour class, though only meet once a week. this class is quite practical … learnt shop-drawing and some steps on conceptual design. well, we’ll see.
