Comfort Zone? Compliance Zone?

Recommended Reading from “Psychology Today”: How to Free Yourself from What You “Should” Be Doing

Just read an interesting article about “What’s holding you back may be compliance, not comfort.”

You prefer to stay at that one spot is because of your compliance zone. NOT comfort zone!

It’s hard to define clearly though – backlash that will come after any kind of non-compliance is a headache.

So compliance is comfort.

If compliance means I can avoid all sorts of unnecessary conversations, then so be it.

I don’t like dealing with human beings in general. So let me go with the flow if it could bring peace.
