…time to get a new coat :P

Happy happy year of hebi!

  • 回程途中跟her討論New York,眼前竟突然出現了Empire State Building的全夜景 @o@”…

Off oven lu~!

(well at least applicable to me XD yeah~)

Candy Crush

Wow..really~strategy?

T, JR, MTR

paradigm shift (iii)

    • Responsibility: Response-ability. Proactive people do not blame circumstances or conditions. Their behavior is a product of their own conscious choice, rather than a product of their conditions. Between stimulus and response is our greatest power – the freedom to choose.
We can always choose how we respond to the environment. We can choose not to empower those external stimuli to control us. Nothing can hurt you without your consent. What matters most is how we respond to what we experience in life.
  • When you look out of the window..identifying the beautiful buildings under your reign one by one..it’s so cool to be a landlord!!

Sent from my iPhone

[Pardon my english]

(Wah, my solution really works!! Coz my blog 靈感 usually sparkles in MTR. No more iPhone games, yay.)

4 things that I have vented about N times here already. Guys, bear with me.

(1) I miss the rigorous intellectual challenges back in school. Absolutely daunting yet enjoyable.

(2) Back to 1pc this Sun and got to meet quite a few 2nd years. The first question I asked was: “wow nice, know which uni are you going to yet?” Surprisingly, everyone answered the same thing: “gap year”. Feel quite ashamed of myself instantly…I just presumed that ‘getting into a great uni‘ is the natural aspiration for students here.

In a “macro” view, the same thing is happening in HK. Why everyone in the alum drinks just came forward and asked:” Which house? Which bank?”. 星期日檔案 was talking about it on Sun (obviously on Sun..–.-) , why can’t it be something else? Something different?

(3) In the same occasion, some canteen staff asked if I have graduated yet. I said yes and they all just burst into laughter: “Well you are xxx’s daughter wor. Must be working for radio too la!!!’ I have a legitimate name and career ga….You see, I have been dealing with such xyz conversation for years already. Back in US, I could really get rid of this extra identity (? can’t say it’s ‘extra’ as it’s part of who I am..) entirely and just be myself. No matter achievements or failures, it wouldn’t be related to my fam background at all.

(4) Of course I miss the time when there was much more freedom. esp. What to wear!! No more hoodies, hea pants and flip flops. Every single night I have to pick wht to wear for work the next day…I don’t care but I just have to…@.@ anyway this is mo liu haha
