25天

my very last 25 days in Hong Kong .. the big things left are:
july 28 – aug 1 @ service
aug 3 @ send-off party
aug 7- aug 11 @ hokkaido no tobi with gor gor
then aug 15 , say bye

still troubled by all these “advanced standing’ examination
becoz obviously i dun really want to do any challenging academic work right now
but that’s quite determining on how-to-fit-in-the-54-credits
ai………so ma farn..and so many variables

my best combination would be:
Fall: Chem 1, Phy 1, East Asia History, Japanese 5
Spring: Math 2,  Phy 2, Japanese 6, Reasons of Wars
(which means I waived 2 science classes, done 2 HASS-D, and complete junior year japanese)

the worst would be:
Fall: Calculus 1, Chem 1, Phy 1, communications requirement
Spring: Calculus 2, Bio 1, Phy 2, HASS-D
(which means i can’t do any Japanese and only did one HASS-D)

so it’s clear now fi0ni
work ur ass off on bio ASE and calculus 1 ASE
it’s not hard, introductory calculus..you can do it ..
u just need a pass………….

Really enjoy plugging in my earphones in deep night
listening to Motoo Fujiwara…it is the most blissful moment ever
that’s what i do at the nights in LPC..in absolute noise-free room
with Fuji-kun accompaning me.. “心から話してみたい”
every word triggers a deep thought .

nameless

for the whole day..im stuck with a nameless negative emotion
nothing ‘feminine’ or got traumatized by anything
i’m troubled by this negative power which i couldn’t actually define

happy that
an overnight-sleep could always reset everything back to default
clear mind and mood again..

it a trouble can trouble you overnight and remind you mentally once u got up
then that’s really a problem to be solved

i dont know wht happened, it makes my mind ‘stagnant’
stop my mood to do anything (even watching tv), can’t interpret anything well
seems like nothing is processed by my brain for whole day, but only filled up with
nameless, intangible clogs…..

random 2.5

1. avoid blogging about hatred/troubles/rage/sensitive materials
because you would never read them again, and there is always a record left in the Net even u deleted it

2. I got –iPod,mini-Rice Warmer, computer bag, a big luggage–as farewell presents from my relatives.
now im hoping for some cash and gadgets and cameras…hahaha

3. seriously i’ve considered joining MIT Rowing Varisty Sport.. it seems easy .. but after knowing it is accompanied with lots of harsh physical training session and weekly practice at 6am-8am..uh-hum.

4. have to study Math 1, Math 2, Bio 1 lahhhhh, finished Math Diagnostics revision :p also Jap level 3 materials…(hell yea…im studying in summer holiday orz)

5. might be going to Sapporo with gor gor in Early August..i didn’t feel especially good about it, or bad..
becoz I think i will go to Japan for exchange/intern in the near future again, well anyway

6. seems the problem of Aging is not too far away from me..one day i will hv wrinkles everywhere..(???)

7. much uncertainties and variables are filling up my mind now….but refer to 1), better not type them here..

8. i was so happy that it was Monday becoz i can watch TV at night again, then suddenly it is Friday again..

9. could finally say-bye to my EQ-negative, alcoholic, violent family member soon, yay

10. finally started reading ‘the story of time’..there are so many galaxies in the expanding universe..and the earth is merely a dot in the Solar system…there are so many uncertainty to be explored, i dun believe the Earth is the only intellectual-active/civilized  place in this borderless universe…hmm its really sth impossible to imagine for our current leve lof intelligence neh.

orz

after considering different factors..
my major/minor combination may go like this:

Major: Economics and Environmental Engineering (special EEE..haha)
Minor: Japanese

mo gai, in order to fulfil the requirement to japan internship…

wooohooo

Dear Cheung-san,

First of all, welcome to MIT!  Glad to hear that you chose MIT. Life  at MIT will be
challenging but enormously exciting.

Yes, we give a placement test to all incoming students who wish to  enroll in upper level
Japanese classes.  Time and place of the test  has not been determined but it is usually
given at the beginning of  the semester, right before the course starts.  The test will
include  listening, reading, translation, and grammar.  A brief interview will  also be
administered.
Before you take the test, I would like to meet you in person and ask  a bit more about
your background in Japanese studies.  I could give  you advice on your Japanese studies
at MIT then.  Also we can talk  about possibilities of doing internship in Japan through
MISTI  program (probably in your sophomore or junior year).

I will be available in the last week of August.  Please email me when  you arrive at MIT
so that we can make an appointment.
I will be looking forward to meeting you in fall!  In the meantime,  you have any
questions, feel free to contact me.

Best,

Director, Japanese Program
MIT
