MIT’s motto Mens et Manus (Mind and Hand) highlights the “ideal of cooperation between knowledge and practice”.
(…..very loosely relevant..now I start my blog post , in bad english XD)
- See, back in school I would apply theory into practice. Now I tend to acquire knowledge the other way round.
- Just started “fundamentals of real estate practice” module in surveying class. Ah-ha….many things I have been working on do have textbook theories behind! But yay, it means I can pass all the quizzes blindfolded
- Is it better to first “find my way in the dark” (took me 2 years working in a developer), or first learn them directly from books and powerpoints (which takes probably like15 mins)?
