Lexiconic Deja vu.
新學的辭彙後，通常很快又會再出現。
CSR, sanity check, soft-power, ame-changer, whatnot

Acronyms and abbreviations.
年紀越大，生活裡的acronyms就越來越多。
這三年來學到的acronyms一定過幾百個。
“this guy is going to CS NY S&T…noo i thought is HK MS IBD in ICC??”
“its EBITA in Q4 totally beats forecast!!”
“I’m Doctor Sheldon Cooper, BS, MS, MA, PhD and SCD….. OMG, right?”

Typical day for a mediocrity (a.k.a. F10n1 in MIT) :

didnt do particularly well in a exam..

see, if you eff-ed up in square 1, the only thing you must do is to 補穫..no binomial model allowed
(or in other words: 有進步空間：）加油Baby!^^* -MAmacheung)

but if you wud gay (btw no one use wud gay this word anymore) with flying colors in square 1, you still have buffer to mess things up a bit later.

so sad………..

重遊DC桜お祭り


是的，是一條花巷，一條花街，上天下地都是花，可謂花天花地。
可是，這些說法都不行，都不足以說出花的動態，「四廂花影怒於潮」，「四山花影下如潮」，還是「花潮」好。有風，花在動，無風，花也潮水一般地動，在陽光照射下，每一個花瓣都有它自己的陰影，就彷彿多少波浪在大海上翻騰，你越看得出神，你就越感到這一片花潮正在向天空向四面八方伸張，好像有一種生命力在不斷擴展。人們面對這綺麗的風光，真是徒喚奈何了。

大自然真美！
估唔到可以親身經歷<花潮>！
一直都好想係春天到日本看櫻花盛開，一定會好壯觀。
今年spring break 終於撞正櫻樹開花期，所以願望達成了！
2009年fall 都去過washington dc 一次，重遊首都隨筆：

  • 原來櫻花有分白色同粉紅色兩種！99年前，日本送了3000櫻花樹給美國，米日友誼的標誌。
  • 看花也要看天氣！day 1去的時候是陰天，花明顯沒有開得這麼燦爛，顏色也單調一點。
  • day2有藍天襯托，立刻截然不同！帶sai d 味（？）出來！
  • 這次去reflective pool 竟然裝修中，所以個pool無水。
  • washington metro 同個chinatown都好廢，好多deliberate的中文翻譯，但其實是一個artificial旅遊區。
  • 上次沒有發現原來dc有這麼多黑人，很少唐人
  • monopoly deal 又簡單又好玩喔！all about hidden deal power :p
  • 係forever 21 買了兩件top都係＄17 ja！但有一件著到成個大肚婆gum，呢個故事教訓我地要帶皮帶。
  • 最後一天去了一家叫jacky chan 成龍餐館的中菜。成為我人生裡吃過最難吃的一餐。比團餐更可怕！
  • 這幾天跟jpm的ex-boss catch up 了一下，讓我分享他的名言！
    (1) “Where is the money? Where in the money is” (要賺錢就要去錢在的地方。financial institutions/government ）
    (2) 上班和上學最大的分別：上學你付錢去辛苦，上班你收錢去辛苦。

Spring Break

a blog should not be a platform to impress or showcase …
this last haven for thoughts should be freed from mundane expectations or frameworks

anyway…let me just summarize what I have done (if any) in this spring break:

  1. went to foxwoods with $8/round-trip-dinner-buffet-included and lost 80 dollars …>< as dad said there is no more beginner’s luck. When I got my 333 dollars grader paycheck in my mailbox today I literally kissed it.
  2. hea for 3 days……sleep and eat…..not that im on drugs but I have no memory how I passed these 3 days….
  3. going to DC tomorrow to watch sakura blossom….but I am hving a running nose now…zzzz

then i spent the whole afternoon today to brainstorm ideas for my bro’s bday cards…
then i spent an hour or so to photoshop them….
that’s the only ‘productivity’ spike in this break,
but good that he likes it ^_^

but the thing is no pset due/exam next week ar ma…….aiyaaa
