Absolute value doesn’t matter at all, it’s all relative.
但不是relative to other people，而是relative to yourself on different points on time-axis.
After all, everyone has his/her own pursuit of life. Don’t judge others, judge yourself.
小學畢業中文老師Ms Law 在紀念冊寫的一句，「待人以寬，律己以嚴」，終身受用。

潘多拉盒子

今天我jpm的老闆突然來信
他說 我是他to date 聘請過年紀最小的人
意想不到的是 過了兩年半 才偶然發現我爸媽是誰

哈哈哈
其實很興幸以往三次實習都沒有人知道/理會我的家庭背景
因為由幼稚園開始，就常自動被label為xxx的女兒 before anything else
走出香港，開始長大成人，才有機會讓其他人公平看待,
Could make a first impression without any prior bias.

It’s part of my identity but its interesting to be assessed purely by my true ability
without this inherited component playing its effect (if any).

還記得freshman year與某位MIT grad student 家長的對話
她：“你係第一年吖？”
我：“係吖，我係freshman”
她：“嘩，gum你咪識xxx個女咯？！聽講佢都係今年黎讀？”
我：“係吖。。識。”
她：“嘩， 佢個人點架？！”
我：“。。。auntie，其實我就係佢。”

(靜）
她：(尷尬）“aiya，好彩無講咩壞話jeh~哈哈。。“

  • 來了Boston三年多，才第一次踏足傳說中的Kennedy School of Government。端莊氣派。
  • 主持人滔滔不絕介紹他的奇勳偉績，甚麼minimum wage policy，2017實行universal suffrage，是他一個人的功勞嗎？再者，回歸二十年後才有特首普選。落後的民主進度不是理應慚愧的事實嗎？
  • 主持人雖然是美國人，讀到”Bauhinia”卻結巴了，要特首教他怎樣讀。Well，我小學一年級就懂這個字了。
  • 政府高官都好喜歡用這一組詞語 “blahblahblah…socially, economically and politically.” 就像一個沒有specific意思卻貌似能概括所有的盾牌。
  • As expected，特首身在美國亦不忘要刷刷鞋，不停quote我們偉大領導人的金句。台下觀眾問maternity bed crisis / soaring property price時，他輕描淡寫說了句：“Don’t blame China for that.” ….seriously sir?

  • 問問題前，主持人點名：“A good question consists of 3 components. 1. identify yourself. 2. express one thought. 3. end with a question mark.” 正，哈哈。
  • 台下發問者大部份都是Harvard (HBS/HKS)的香港學生。別以為大家是同鄉就會給面子，其實問題卻更為尖銳，絕不留情。
  • “What was your wisest decision and the most stupid decision you have ever made as a CE?”
    “Why don’t you evaluate your failure?”
    “What will happen in 2047?”
  • 政府官員最厲害就是耍太極，遊花園。（難怪現場派發的speaker’s profile裡，說特首喜歡birdwatching吧。）
  • 所以基本上都沒有答到甚麼。。又使出了“Anyhow…Hong Kong has been able to advance socially,economically and politically.”
  • 最後一提的是，他的偽造british accent真的好搞笑。”Here”, “Hong Kong” , “daunting”…just try to pronounce these words in a synthetic british way.

凌晨徹夜難眠，又一個“我還不夠累 不能夠沉睡”的長夜。
決定不能再容許自己午睡，不如來個節目豐富的星期一。
拿著相框般巨型的ipad拍照是很傻。。但景色真的好美。

天氣好，走河邊
喜歡被黃葉包圍 （雖然快要遲到但還是很寫意地停下腳步拍照）
mark zuckerberg來學校了，lobby 10逼滿記者，但抽不到admission ticket也沒辦法。上完課grade完pset 到boston downtown。跟城市規劃的人開會。office裡的人只穿襪子。日本style？
反正出來了，跟韓國exroomate到newbury street逛街。面對醉人的河景，真的會can't take my eyes off 。試穿了8件才買了2件...難怪我的wardrobe turnover 這麼低。
大功告成！：p surprise泡湯 哈哈哈 我是良家婦女～

不能自己一個人看感人電影，TV asahi 製作，人氣手機小說：

女的本來是壞學生，偶然一個下雨天，與35歲的大學講師相遇
但講師因腦異化只剩下3個月命，所以對女很抗拒冷淡，
屬於不善於表達心裡情感的人。但女卻是很直率的女孩。
有次男的暈倒在街上，女的把他送院
女要求，要教她日本歷史作為道謝
女再要求，我考試拿到100分你就要我約會
最後就當然拿到100分啦。

講師本來對生命已經沒有希望，但開始被融化，變得開朗
壞少女也變了乖少女。但講師一直都沒有告訴女他快要死了。

最後，本來非常內斂cool的講師在病床上也含淚道出心底話，
說寧願死，都不要冒險做腦部手術，怕會失去一起的回憶。
就算死了，我也會在天上注視著你，你要為我好好加油活著。。等等

最後呢，男接受手術，沒有死，卻真的失憶了。
但重遇的那一刻，又是同樣的下雨天，
男的還是一見鍾情了！！oooooooohhhhh
