First day of class, I only have one class today from 2:30-4:00pm. still an interesting day to write about!

My two favorite places…magical and enchanted :)
BOS & HKG

 

(1) 新房，大了差不多一倍，比香港的房間更大，
充足陽光！同一房租卻有更高享受，很多事情都要是要爭取的！

(2) 今天終於看看各科的syllabus，非常期待 Chinese Web Culture
這一課的架構有點像IB Chinese A2 一樣。
生字表有：山寨，脑残，俯卧撑，打酱油，甚至“艳照门”也有
而且上課會看電影，包括： 鏗鏘集, 超級女聲，建黨偉業，非誠勿擾

(3) 四年來，第一次使用MIT的library service!!
yes 我是從來沒有在mit的圖書館借過書的 XD
但Sloan的textbook無論係new, old, kindle, eBook version都貴到喊
所以終於！使用了圖書館的教科書2-hour loan 租借服務。
對，只可以借兩個小時。我就把握時間， 把整個semester的課後練習
都抄下來

and professor approve了我可以以pass／fail 來讀這課，實在可喜可賀
無壓力開心上課！

上課第一天就吃了popeye chicken 和 bubble tea 賀一賀佢，
在MIT裡，只有canteen的人會叫我做“家hey”，非常親切～ :)

搬進新房間，床在窗邊
明月高高掛，很圓很圓

Registration day…busy morning already!!

1. Changed to an L-shape room now, biggest in the dorm!
   I am the no.1 on the priority number wohoo!! (coz im oldest in the lottery..haha..not easy to rank #1 in MIT lol)
   Happy, now I will have two windows in the room , and riverside! :3
2. Seems I am not allowed to take the Chinese class after the sudden Chin placement test…hahaha /_\
   I may take ‘Chinese Youth Web Culture’ instead..the prof got high rating 6.8/7.0
   and I have done research on Tencent before too..+ im a weibo user…should be nice?
3. Met with Prof. Suss :D again he told me he has worked in HKUST before (he told me everytime I met him XDD)
   Now I can tell him my bf is a HKUST graduate too =P
   He said “wow you have a very respectable Fall semester…esp. half of them are grad classes!”
   haha indeed that was one of my best semesters ^^v hehe anyway
   He said he would set up a graduate reception for his advisee’s families y in his office!!
   and can take pics and stuff like that
   wowwww im so excited……..when all my families are here for my graduation!!!!
4. FINALLY~! registration has finally turned electronic.….
   what a shame for MIT that we were still using paper and pen for reg in the past 3 years…
   good to experience it at least for one semester :)Now i have to get medicine + go to Chinatown for chicken rice to kick-start my semester =P

Feeling 50/50 about the semester ahead…….
Not sure if I have the motivation to study fluid mechanics again..
a class that I dropped in sophomore year…T_T

最近特別有感，其實這個世界沒有一個完全正常的人
亦沒有一個完全正常的家庭
大家都有他們“怪怪地”的陰暗面或缺憾
而怪在那裡？time will tell ~
所以人靠包裝，相處靠包容；
在人際關係上要做到面面俱圓，
就取決於你的交際手腕/EQ的高低了

I feel so familiar with Boston though…weirdly familiar…
no need to adapt at all…allow me to repeat the same line again,
back to another reality!!!

瑣事：

• 飛機上面有個同老豆85％相似既鬼佬！金頭髮藍眼睛 *_*~ 成日偷望他hehe
  – 
• 旁邊坐了一位坐輪椅的美國婆婆，雙腿是義肢。
  她到了泰國一個月探望3歲和5歲的孫仔孫女，才第一次相會！
  婆婆說他有4個兒子，一位已經去世。但幸好有10個孫兒陪她。
  常常都pull off 去泰國之旅，但覺得不能再拖延了，要做就立刻做，
  就算行動不便，也要見見從沒見面的孫仔孫女！表情非常幸福：p
  她還說“ you english is perfect!” hohoho~~
  (天音：if  native的就不會特別comment你的英文發音吧-_-）
  – 
• 比個immigration officer問左十萬條問題！！浪費時間 （怒）
  “How many classes you took last semester?”
  “What? It’s just last semester and you can’t remember?”
  “Tell  me how many credits there were.”
  “When would school start?”
  “Who pay for your tuition?”
  “When would you graduate?”
  “For how long have you been studying in MIT?”
  “How are you going back to Boston?”
  “How much cash do you have with you now?”
