Typical day for a mediocrity (a.k.a. F10n1 in MIT) :

didnt do particularly well in a exam..

see, if you eff-ed up in square 1, the only thing you must do is to 補穫..no binomial model allowed
(or in other words: 有進步空間：）加油Baby!^^* -MAmacheung)

but if you wud gay (btw no one use wud gay this word anymore) with flying colors in square 1, you still have buffer to mess things up a bit later.

so sad………..

這幾天都是不停在看有關日本大地震的文字新聞，圖片，video，和tweets。
不停的refresh著 nhk，bbc，yahoo jp，朝日、読売、微博，twitter ，youtube等等。
有很多對日本關心的朋友，都跟我一樣，每分每秒都留意者有關消息。

雖然我身在美國，所有朋友同事都幸好安全，但的確我是在state of shock 裡。
就像911，南亞海嘯，菲律賓人質事件，這些不幸的天災人禍，都讓我極度不安和難受。
更何妨這次悲劇發生在我其中最關心的國家。
而且我都是自己一個人在房間裡看，矚目驚心。

有朋友在fb說，他在跟教授相談可不可以把考試延遲，因為現在的精神狀態不可能太專心。
我星期五中午，就是事發當天，也有日語口試，但真是完全沒有辦法pull myself together
最後講每一句都講錯，最後我跟sensei說，今天心情好沈重，非常對不起表現這麼令你失望。
早上要做的presentation也無法微笑出來。太恐怖了

1. 無論如何prepare好，如何科技發達，都敵不過mother nature和命運。
2. 但科技的確可以把damage大大減低。東京鐵塔也歪了，但絕大部份東京高樓屹立不倒。
3. 海嘯和核洩漏，才是殺人兇手。避無可避。
4. 希望日本可以快速recover。把那數萬個不明者尋回。
5. 日本是文明社會，物資短缺但都變“無料”。香港的話，一張東京香港單程機票突然變了2萬塊。良心社會？值得反思。

好好珍惜安然無恙的日子。
