work=English Listening exam in all accents every day. as im covering regional markets (i.e. HK, China, India, Malay, Singapore, Thailand..e.tc), really hv to understand clearly what the research analysts/clients were saying..
Work hard, play hard. boss sent me a email marked as “high importance”..that’s the must-play list of BKK =P
Keep your mouth shut accordingly. lots of insider information..have to filter what to say/what not to say appropriately
new vocabs = Window-dressing, buck, soft patch, austerity package, summer bounce, underperform/outperform, or even ‘takeaway’ itself..haha
no more free time for weibo/youtube trends.. :<
