最近諗緊下年睇咩書，好快睇咗rational optimist作者嘅”talk by google” 和book summary
好似係我come across 第三本咁嘅書，用數據證明人類正在進步，唔需要咁悲觀。另外兩本係Factfulness和Enlightenment Now.
Rational optimist 裡面講人類因為有exchange of ideas and trade (innovation, from practitioners not scientists to improve existing technology), 就會有collective intelligence / less specialisation of producers bring more diversified consumptions (self-sufficiency is poverty).
然後佢居然argue氣候變化係好事，我覺得好bold。Solar + nuclear are good, wind power and biofuel are bad
比較有趣係new type of pessimism 唔應該係poverty或climate change…而係how a foolish idea can rule the world, 以前要一個country/empire/ religion due to such 容易exchange
