Too much information flying around
Shame on those who made up fake news to trigger even more chaos.
Shame on those (including myself) who spread things around without even verifying them.

The government had many opportunities to stand firm on their view without humiliating themselves, but they failed every time.

It reminds me of Stanford Prison Experiment…you will be “absorbed” in the atmosphere.
In SPE, the “prison guards” are given sunglasses to avoid eye contact / hidden identity & batons to establish a sense of status. After that, even a normal experiment participant would become disorientated and loss their mind.I am sure not all polices are evil, but when you are placed in that kind of situation, you may become distorted in some sense…

It’s interesting to compare the differences between TVB and NOW / Cable TV news ….on their camera angle, selection of video clips, use of words and phrasing.
