just went through a 2-day negotiation workshop, the most interesting trading session so far!!
Our negotiations are videotaped and we all re-watched & analysed together!
– Negotiations on value distribution and value creation are indeed very different.
– If you try to be fair and honest, you will be exploited.
– tough is not nasty, firm is not necessarily rude.
Just one thing, for 2 years, a repeated “weakness” appearing on my 360 feedback is about confidence & eloquence , esp under discomfort / confrontation. Hmm~ really gotta work on it!
