Week 1總結.
五天來過百次的自我pitching,
最大感受就是大家對”MIT”這三個字的偏見和stereotype.
nerdy, isolated, good at math and programming, anti-social.
可能再加上兩個暑假都是極度technical的job nature,
還未開波已經被無辜定形.
在people business / client 至上的行業,
打著”痲省理工”旗號, 卻竟然倒過來變了disadvantage.
在另一投行做實習的同學說得好
“the MIT brand will kill me one day. FML.”
所以,
這十個星期最艱鉅偉大的工程,
是要推翻這個對我校根深柢固的assumption.
我不是另一極端的social butterfly, 但我相信我能做到.
(天音: “good at math and programming” 這個很容易就推翻able XD)
